People are way overplaying the Deutsch Bank case. It's a class action lawsuit, in civil court, that runs no serious danger of getting any individual into trouble. Deutsch Bank's insurers and stockholders may take a minor hit, at worse. If ANY big bank was seriously afraid of this sort of shyt then we'd be a very different country. One of the big reasons why our country is so fukked up is because people like Deutsch Bank get away with shyt all the time and lawsuits like this make no meaningful difference no matter which way they fall.

The class-action lawsuit just ain't that important.

And as you point out, it all went down just 4 days after she got the case. No one is pulling all the strings, making the calls, setting up the hit, and carrying it out in a matter of days like that. Big orgs never work that way. It would take them 4 days just for the actual decision makers to finish talking to each other before they were even ready to make the decision, and THEN they would likely spend weeks making sure they carried it out appropriately.

Even if you believe that in a matter of hours or at most 1-2 days they would manage to find a crazy lawyer dying of terminal cancer who had ALREADY killed his rival lawyer just days earlier and ALREADY vowed revenge against his other enemies and ALREADY publicly ranted about how much he hated Judge Salas....which is all just an impossible coincidence to find such a person....do you seriously think a big org like Deutsch Bank would make the decision to use a crazy loose canon like him with that little deliberation?

And then there's the last point....if you use someone who ALREADY has publicly expressed his hatred for Judge Salas, then how does that send a message? Why would Judge Salas even think the "message" came from Deutsch Bank when the killer has such obvious personal motivation? What good does it do Deutsch Bank at all?
