enjoyed this when I saw it...it’s easier to say in hindsight but I honestly was not surprised that olivia colman would win best actress for her role

Yeah she was good but for me Weisz stole the show.

Lanthimos is one of my favorite directors currently working, can't wait for whatever he does next. I think this is one of his best, the setting and themes reminded me of Barry Lyndon which is not a comparison I draw lightly. The ending was understated but brutal.
