Just watched former WWE wrestler Chris Nowinski's documentary Head Games about concussions...man..

Now i dont know how may diagnosed concussions Daniel Bryan or even Christian have....but after watching that documentary as well as PBS' joint about the NFL and concussions it doesnt even matter how many diagnosed ones you have...these dudes need to sit their asses down before its too late.

You can pass every CT scan and test in the world but that doesnt mean you arent developing CTE . I would hate to see the American Dragon go out like Chris Benoit or any other wrestler/athlete that committed that due to their brain essentially being mush. DB was arguably my favorite wrestler for awhile but i'll gladly let him go :sadbron:

If we are taking that path, then we shouldn't even watch wrestling breh. Bryan isn't a special case, there's a shyt ton of wrestlers that have had multiple concussions. You should be scared about most of the guys future. Someone like Taker shouldn't be anywhere near a ring and I don't see people screaming for his health, people were worried about Kurt Angle when he left WWE but they quickly forgot about it and started to calling him the GOAT for his crazy ass TNA matches.... shiit, a young guy like Ziggler should be taken with the same precaution as D-Bry. And don't even get me started on puro guys, there's no way most those fukkers aren't gonna end up with serious brain damage down the line..

That's why I choose to be an a$$hole about the whole the thing. If I really start caring about their brain health then I wouldn't be able to even watch to be honest. Wrestling, like boxing and football, is a dangerous "sport". If guys don't know any better, want to wrestle and have the OK from doctorS, I say let them wrestle :manny:

Folks in here hating Daniel and his fans so much that they can't even muster up the maturity to acknowledge the situation obviously looks shady :mjlol:

Meanwhile, if someone here were to suggest that the E should never put a belt on Orton again because of his injury proneness, a certain "G" would go completely mental.:russ:

Imagine them telling Austin or not doing everything they could to ensure he would return to the ring back in 98 after he finally got surgery on his neck and telling him that he would be a "road agent" or manager or something. That is essentially what they are doing with Bryan and he is the most over man in the company and if healthy probably the best overall wrestler in the world. It's got to be more to it then what they are saying. Cats like Terry Funk and Cactus Jack have wrestled for Vince and they have had worse injuries and way more concussions then Bryan has. He even brought back all those older wrestlers to face Jericho a few years back. His ego is so big that for once his hand picked creation (Reigns) hasn't gotten over to the extent that he expected and he fears that bringing Bryan back will sabotage him even more. That is the only theory I can think of that makes sense in my mind.
thats a different time though

they were completely careless (or ignorant) when it came to these sort of things

if you remember when austin got that stinger instead of stopping the match they continued and hell the ref even helped Austin up! thats the last thing you want to do when someone suffers a neck injury.

they were completely reckless back then with their performers safety and the point youre making is they should continue that trend.

Dude, it's so funny how even a guy who doesn't like D-Bry all that much (he just doesn't do anything for me) can see how petty Vince is and what this is about.

This is about him not liking Bryan because he got over in a way that he didn't control, stole the show from John Cena and now Roman Reigns, who are Vince's handpicked guys, AND about Vince not liking "vanilla midgets".

So, you're telling me that The Undertaker, who actually looks like death himself without makeup and hair dye is in better shape than Daniel Bryan?

Nah, I don't believe that.

And I can't believe that Ed in here pretending that Vince didn't leave millions on the table being petty about the WCW, from the invasion, to having his son in law go over on Sting. Even Hall & Nash were shocked that Stinger was gonna job for HHH. That was about him being petty about WCW.

Vince going back to the mid '90s was quoted by people as saying, "I'd rather have an empty stadium, than have the fans cheer for somebody I don't want them to cheer for". Dude's a control freak.

And CM Punk's situation is TOTALLY different than Bryans

Punk was telling people, "Hey, I'm hurt REALLY BAD" and it was people in the back saying, "Nah, you good" and punishing him for asking questions about his own health.

Bryan is telling you he's healthy and has doctors saying that he's healthy.

Personally, I don't want to see Bryan in WWE. I'd love to see him go to TNA or Lucha, where he could work a lighter schedule (because even though I'm not a huge fan of him wrestling wise, he does seem like a really good man) and more importantly stick it to Vince in some way.

Speaking of concussions... yeah I remember that Summer Slam 2000 match where Triple H dropped Kurt on the announce table.

They escorted him back to the locker rooms.... just to have him come back out and finish the match.

Angle said he didn't even remember that shyt.:merchant:
