Yep, the league is so ridiculously conservative and ripe for an NHL version of D'Antoni or the Golden State Warriors to flip everything on its head.

It always bugs me how teams go with two forwards and one defenseman in OT instead of rolling three forwards out there.

Also, the rule that they would forfeit the OTL point because they pulled the stupid is idiotic. Get rid of that ASAP to encourage more of this.

I saw on HFBoards a poster suggested that if a team pulled a goalie, if that team scored then the losing team doesn’t get the OTL. I would favor of that the reward would even greater if it works.

I’m not mad, I always thought if Atlanta Spirit wasn’t a disaster that Thrashers would have never left. I just not crazy about expanding this quickly after going to 32 already . Atlanta, Salt Lake City, Houston are locks to get teams in the future.
