Smart guy is definitely underrated.

Wayan bros is underrated as well. The show was getting better every season.

Wayans didnt get Legit good until Season 3 and later. Season 1 was not that memorable and Season 2 had flashes.

Ya'll don't understand. I could call my sister up today and say "guess whats on" and we'll watch and be on the phone dying like we haven't seen every episode :mjlol:

Season 1 had a funny episode here and there. HATED Lisa's character it was just so out of place.
Season 2 from the premiere to about episode 10 did have flashes
Adding Dee and TC in the second half of season 2 and getting rid of the dead weight characters like that white security guard did wonders. I believe White Mike (Mitch...RIP breh :mjcry:) left because he got his own show.
Then adding Dupree...it just worked. I fukking LOVE The Wayans Bros. :banderas:

One of my favorite moments from the early episodes...the same shyt would happen with me and my siblings/cousins :russ:

The funniest episode was probably when Marcus and Mo did the late night radio show :russ:

My Wife and Kids should be the iconic Black Entertainment show

The most memorable thing about this show was how Tisha Campbell got pregnant at the end of season 1 and gained so much weight they had to write it into the show

Yeah I agree with it being on that jamie foxx tier. Forgot about that one. Thing about smart guy is that it didn't develop much of a career for anyone that i know of. Not like Jamie Foxx on his show, will Smith on fresh Prince, Steve Harvey on his show, etc. I haven't heard any of the smart guy characters lately. Last I saw was Yvette on Are we there yet with Terry crews.

This is a bad comparison. All those dudes had careers before and that was the basis for their shows. Only the big brother Marcus was known(from being a young MJ or some shyt in a TV movie). The rest were nobodies or related to someone famous(the mowry twins, Omar epps) Smart Guy was a criminally slept on show. Shame it didn't last. It just came at a time after the boom period of black shows. It's gotten more popular with time as you can see with the amount of syndication runs it has

Because FM became a fukking joke after the third season. It just became the Urkel show and dragged on and on. Plus they started making him ten characters(the suave version, Urkel sister) Watch Key N Peele sketch on it. It's an excellent parody of what that show basically became.
