The fact remains, women have no good reason to wear weaves.

Billion dollar industry...hair hat industry that is
its funny cuz the whole concept of buying some strangers hair in a shop and then gluing it into your head is just :wtf: :scusthov: to me but its come to be so commonplace in the black community that it's become a billion dollar industry :wow:

Thank god I have good hair :blessed: :ahh:

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
You CAN NOT extrapolate beyond what the data show (that STATS 101). Misusing stats to suit your argument only works on the type of people who watch Fox News. There is a broad range of hair care products that women buy that contribute to the industry.

The numbers on spending are disproportionate, especially when you take population size into account. That difference has to be accounted for somewhere, and the most likely thing would be weaves, especially with how expensive they can be.

Again, there are no surveys being done on who does and doesn't wear weaves, all we can do is estimate and I'll take the high number as opposed to the low when it comes to what percentage of black women wear weaves.

Here we go. I see the game you be playing.

First of all, don't give me that "it wasn't even my original point" cause YOU entertained it. Second of all, i gave you your source... step outside. And lastly, anyone can makeup things like calling themselves a "statistician". I'm superman. You see how easy that was.

But still, like air, i'll rise :umad:

No :umad: I am a statistician. I do academic research on education (that's very well known around these parts and couple people on the coli with my real name can very easily verify with a simple google search). You aren't very bright if you think anecdotal evidence like "look outside" means anything. The world is not your back yard sweetie.

Again, yall started the what white women wouldn't do argument and got mad when I could step up the the challenge.

Outside @lovelydays window
Probably not since they wear their hair in braids 90% of the time. Black women can do that too but then nikkas would say they looked like Celie or something :mjpls:

Sidenote: Their hair ain't even that long tho. Doesn't take much to get there.

Braids on a woman is sexy though. Couldn't some two strand twist also work?:ld:

Did I say the first bolded point? Please don't preach to me like that is what I said.

You were trying to act dumb like he didn't show you a white women with a perm used to achieve his black daughter's hair texture. That is all my post referred to.

To the last bolded...it's because yall stupid, ignorant, and demeaning shyt along with that opinion. When someone corrects your ill-informed rant then they hate themselves or their are justifying things because of white women.

Are u aware that the photo that MeechTheMonster put up. He wasn't even sure what that WW did to her hair? He said "she probably" has a perm. So please top with the "you are actin dumb" stufff. Thankx

The Comfort Zone
What a dumbass :snoop: You do know that black women can have many different textures right? Nah...you don't.

@Napoleon I understand where you are coming from, but not every black female who wears a weave does so to improve their self-esteem. A weave can actually be a protective hairstyle, particularly during the winter months. Me personally, I'm not down with the weave thing...anymore. My last weave (7 years ago) damaged my hairline :to: and it took a long time to get back to normal.

Black women can grow their hair super long...unfortunately quite a few are just lazy.

Read this again and tell I'm cosigning women who wear nothing BUT weave.
