I wonder if snoop dogg or ASAP rocky ever needed protective styles
Can't wait to see the excuses for this

There are no exact numbers on weave wearers, nobody is taking a census on chicks who wear weaves
We can however extrapolate and come to a decent idea based on how much money is spent by black women in the hair industry vs other groups. And surveys like this don't instill much confidence that there are loads and loads of "natural" hair females out there -

Somehow, someway, it's black men's fault. Can't wait to see the excuses for this

Can you point out who was defending this mindset?
They're going to say that white women hate their hair too, and that black women in the survey loved their hair most
That shows how delusional and out of touch women in our community are about their hair, they love it the most, yet are the ones that spend the most amount of money on their hair and are the only ones where the majority of women wear OTHER peoples hair? shyt makes absolutely no sense
Oh my lawd Jesus I aint say yall was defending it. I'm referring to black women that buy weave non stop.
Is wearing weaves the only option to protecting hair?
The chemicals in @PartyHeart's hair are fukking with her thought process.
Let me make sure I have your position on this topic correct. You believe women purchasing and installing weaves that look nothing like their natural hair is comparable to men getting a low haircut because we are somehow trying to hide our natural hair texture even though the leftover hair on our head is in fact our own natural hair....
So a pre-teen isn't capable of wanting a new style? That's the time where "style" really becomes a big deal.
