The fact remains, women have no good reason to wear weaves.

That's a perm. White women have been getting perms for years, far far longer than Black women. But with white women its just them styling their hair, with Black women its a reflection of deep poor feelings we have about ourselves but that no one else can be said to have.

I have Asian friends who get perms too, but they go for large curls/wave (almost like bumping) since their hair is so hard to curl.

Do you have proof to the contrary?

go look at @Spoonz posts. i dont feel like searchin for the exact quote. but him and others have compared BM who rock tapers, fades, caesars and dreds equal to BW wearing weaves because they believe that if u in any way change the consistency of your hair, then that is the same thing as wearin weave. Im not just makin this shyt up

I know the line of argument that I are talking about (I haven't read spoonz post yet), but I know you are lying about the dread thing. I never seen anyone say that shyt. If they did then they had to be talking about dread lock extension (which I've personally seen black men get).

Did a nikka just say getting a taper or a fade = self hate? :what:All types of mental gymnastics is going on in here.Getting a line up is self hate too? What about shaving? Guess i gotta rock the caveman look.

All races of men cut their hair. Only one cuts it to the point of where the texture is no longer visible or even there. I think you know which one.

And no, waves are not a natural hair style. There is a reason why Black men who have them don't want water touching their hair.

Are you acting like you've never heard of white women and perms? They are on the same aisle as relaxers.

You want it to just be about weave so that you can rail on Black women without distraction, but its truly about natural hair styles. Why? Because all of the arguments you use against weave relate to it being about self hate, which can then be correlated to Black folks rocking their natural hair texture. Something that neither Black women OR Black men are doing enough.

And I don't think these women even get weaves under the pretense that it is theirs. See this is why I keep saying y'all have no idea wtf you're talking about when it comes to Black women's hair yet insist you do to the point where you are trying to tell women about why they do what they do. Most of these women with weaves go up to each other and ask where they got their hair done and what type of hair it is. What pretense is that? It is truly like an accessory to them.

lol Same way I feel about Black men when I attempt to engage them in a debate about hair. Y'all are just so uninformed but want to talk so much about it.
HAIR STYLES IS FOR HAIR THAT YOU HAVE YOU SILLY WENCH!

there is no reason for me to lie when everybody can look at posts at any time. i wish i was lying. im not makin this up. some people will go to great lengths to defend weaves. i seriously beleieve some people will fight to the death for weaves. Its gotten to the point where some black folks will justify BW wearing weaves and say "WW wear weave too" "WW get perms too" "WW get ass injections too" "WW get tans" :mindblown: what the hell duz that have to do with BW wearin the texture of hair of other races? :mindblown:

This thread is dumb at this point. I cant believe that we have black men promoting, encouraging our women to wear black hair (that god made) We are discouraging weave, then there are actually black people who are fighting us about that. do u not see how crazy that is? :mindblown:
