I slept so hard on the first one, playing it now on PC. The game is fire 
RE 4 is my favorite RE and Evil Within feels like a spiritual successor to it. I don't know what the deal was with the game at launch, but I know it had some updates, so it runs flawlessly for me
With that said The Evil Within 2 is a day one cop

At launch the game was solid, and with updates they fixed most of the issues people had. This game brought back that scary feeling games used to have by rediscovering that balance of making the player deadly enough to hold his own but making enemies just as deadly where each encounter had you one mistake away from being killed. It felt like Resident Evil 4 and a bit like dead space with its creepy atmosphere and enemies. That opening butcher shop scene is still one of my favorites this gen. I don't know what more people wanted. The game controls well, has good graphics. I guess the story is the weak point but I'm fine with it overall.

I saw this on Facebook and immediately wished I didn't.
I'm not watching anything else on this game. I want to be surprised as much as possible.
Knowing what to expect only takes away from the suspense.

Going back to finish the first one. This was one of the scariest games that I have played honestly. Quit playing it because ps4 was dropping too much piff and I couldn't keep up
. Going tt finish it before the sequel drops. On chapter 12 now.
To the brehs who stopped playing, I suggest giving it another try. I felt like stopping at some points also but picking this back up makes me realize how fun and intense this was/is.

I kept getting my ass kicked on EW1 and i was close to the end, i lost interest after that, been meaning to give it another try
I remember being annoyed with the gameplay and the animations of the last one but it did have some cool boss battlesWas the last one any good? Heard EW1 was one of those love it or hate it kind of games.
and I thought Shinji Mikami was done making horror games
