i dont think skillz would want to use a whole album full of material on timbaland beats. timbaland isnt really a hip-hop guy. he was an r&b guy with nice drums, as someone said best on this board a while ago. rappers traditionally went to timbaland for singles & party cuts. timbaland was no premo or dr dre. thats why a guy like magoo was the perfect partner.
thats what was so dope about this crew in general tho. they bridged a gap for r&b fans that arent really hip-hop, and hip-hop fans with no soul. all while staying true to themselves and putting out quality music.
