dude, i was listneing to that first timbo & magoo album, so many heaters ...I miss upbeat, positive r&b. Like the only "upbeat" r&b right now are songs that should've been trap rap

Edit: BTW, damn shame Timbaland doesn't have his pre-shock value albums available on Spotify, nikka on his :mjpls: shyt

Aaliyah's 2nd and 3rd aren't available either, but I can understand why

Came in here to drop this song... Such a banger :lawd:

by my count tim had 3 solo albums and two groups albums that's a movement last time I checked

just because youre dropping albums, it doesnt mean that you have a movement. hes just a producer homie.

and i dont even recall him having 3 solo albums. i just remember that one around '98 that didnt make much noise. i guess the other 2 are his pop records.

the amount of children conceived to these tracks

ehh, you picked the wrong thread to use that saying.

not a knock, but very few baby-making records came out of this camp. that wasnt their lane. they were moreso gap-bridgers that provided quality r&b for cats whose tastes didnt quite reasonate with soul/r&b. ginuwine was the only one hitting str8 up r&b home-runs, and even then, most of his baby-making classics came after he parted ways with timbo.

but hey, they did a dam good job at doing what they did, and altered r&b in the process. plus its a feel-good story how half of the click stuck together after swing mob and started their own crew, making noise in r&b and mainstream hip-hop.

he was that producer who became an artist in his own right the fact that his last two albums were pop makes him even more of a movement I'm not understanding what your disagreement is with that

sounds like you just dont know what a movement is.

the term has become way too trendy. its time for it to die.

especially when you use the term in the same breath as the word "pop".

Dogg...get off your high horse.

Magoo was wack and it would have no impact on his career if they were never a duo.
