Real talk this was the era that I really got into rnb, I was a young cat and my moms used to bump that Ginuwine in the whip, had me jammin to it. I remember when Aaliyah died, that was the first time I actually felt sadness about a celebrity dying. I wonder if they will ever drop Ginuwine's version of I Miss You.

I feel this man...when Aaliyah died that was sad and that was the end of that movement. Then Timbo did his own thing.

I remember R&B all throughout the 90s and it changed sofast and got better as the years went on. I think about it in retrospect and comparing 90 to 99 it was like wow! Things just changed so fast! Timbaland just sent the game to the future.

Timbo was doing some ridiculous things with his production back them. 100% Ginuwine was :ohlawd:.

Dude switched up Flash Gordon theme song and found a way to drop the Godzilla roar(:mindblown:) into a song and make it sound dope.

I could go on and on but dude's production back then is the GOAT to me. Bar none.

He been killing it. Even the newer stuff he did is dope.

That beat for Tom Ford was flames...but for me a very inspirational producer...

No lie...Timbaland pushed music production to the next level. Dude was dropping some futuristic heat. That Welcome to Our World had me feeling like I was 2015 back in 1997 :banderas:

FOR REAL!!!!! 1997 was that year!

Lowkey...this was the beginning of the south's way to the top of the game....the producers were just on another level. They had that style and that sound that no other region had at that time.
