some background info on steiner

Rudolf Joseph Lorenz Steiner[2] (25/27 February 1861[3] – 30 March 1925) was an Austrian philosopher, social reformer, architect, and esotericist.[4][5] Steiner gained initial recognition as a literary critic and cultural philosopher. At the beginning of the 20th century, he founded a spiritual movement, anthroposophy, as an esoteric philosophy growing out of idealist philosophy and with links to theosophy.

Steiner advocated a form of ethical individualism, to which he later brought a more explicitly spiritual component. He based his epistemology on Johann Wolfgang Goethe's world view, in which “Thinking … is no more and no less an organ of perception than the eye or ear. Just as the eye perceives colours and the ear sounds, so thinking perceives ideas.”[9] A consistent thread that runs from his earliest philosophical phase through his later spiritual orientation is the goal of demonstrating that there are no essential limits to human knowledge.

Rudolf Steiner - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

saw race as a physical manifestation of humanity's spiritual evolution and at times discussed race in terms of complex hierarchies largely derived from nineteenth century biology, anthropology, philosophy, and Theosophy, yet he consistently and explicitly subordinated race, ethnicity, gender—indeed, all hereditary factors—to individual factors in development. For Steiner, human individuality is centered in a person's unique biography, an individuality's experiences and development not bound by a single lifetime, not the qualities of the physical body. More specifically:

Steiner occasionally characterized specific races, nations, and ethnicities in ways that have been termed racist by critics including descriptions of certain races and ethnic groups as flowering, others as backward, destined to disappear, or even degenerate;

yea i think it's amazing how someone can be so wise, yet so ignorant at the same time. its yet another demonstration of the complexities of human consciousness.

as well versed as steiner was in spiritual matters, its amazing how he fell victim to the psychological trap of white supremacy. nothing in spiritual teachings validates anything remotely close to white supremacy, and in fact teaches the exact opposite.

it's pretty bewildering actually.

Uncertain grounds
I really do believe we are in a new age renaissance.

More and more people are learning more and more things, with the power of the internet. The spread of information is as drastic or more drastic as the movable feast that happened with the "real" renaissance.

At the very least, more people know more "things" than ever, have access and the ability to learn unlimited amounts of information and the capability to utilize that information in a profound way that has been previously unseen by society.

Interestingly enough, this renaissance is primarily featured by collectives and think tanks rather than the sparkling innovations of the individual, but there is yet and still accomplishments by the individual that are marvelous...like the battery created by the Indian girl (seen in a thread here recently).

It truly is a wonderful time to be alive, and it is truly time for everyone to add to the feast and contribute as much of their brilliance as possible instead of feeling discouraged by the competition that they face.

Most definitely brother! Everyday more and more comes out about this enlightenment. Like what the Pope just said about atheists, discussions on how to advance the black community, the simple discussion of these topics.

It's exponential growth too. The more one adds, it echoes out and comes back. The system feeds itself.

This is what that 2012 hoopla was really all about. The age of Aquarius, the age of humanity, enlightenment, the resurgence of spiritual knowledge of the past. Is it as esoteric as they make it? It has yet to be seen but I like where it's going

i didn't know whether to make this a thread in an of itself, or post in in here, so here goes...:

Psychonauts of HL, how do yall integrate mystical, psychedelic experiences into your everyday life...?

alot of these experiences SWIM has had, while very profound while happening, seem rather difficult to extract concrete knowledge from in the days or weeks after...

anybody that can relate?

Right now I just focus on lucid dreaming. I don't know why astral projection doesn't interest me though. I'm working on getting some DMT this year. I'll make a thread about that.

You have to understand things of higher dimensions are metaphors and archetypes. We are stories and living myths. The other night I had a dream about running from the cops, holding a gun to a chick's head, I wanted to talk, she was waiting to blast me, I told her put the gun to my head and let's have a conversation. We got out the car, cops surround us. We run into a bar.

The bartender has a hideout that everyone's paying to get in. I look through my wallet, monopoly money, random stuff, im worried I have nothing. I find a few fifties, give it to her. Jump down the trap door. I'm with a few other people. Then I'm told or know there's another way in, you swim thru some tunnels. I see a guy pop his head out one of the submerged tunnels. He says it was trapped, gas went off.

I received a vision of what happened. Apparently in dream you communicate thru telepathy, you don't "Talk" you just "know". Things just happen and move forward. Anyways I realize the place is surrounded by cops but they can't find us. I start to see we are trapped. I start coughing up gum. Peeling it off my tongue and throat. A recurring theme. Feels like im choking.

This dream has to do with my financial situation, feeling trapped not knowing what to do. The gum represents self expression of said predicament.

Also I have a lot of experiences with synchronicity. You can chalk these up to coincidence if you want. But I've definitely going down a 'path'. Every once in awhile, if im going through something and I watch tv, it seems to be relating to me. Watch, world events especially astrological ones, be very aware of those, they bring our minds together. Like the asteroids earlier this year. Even talks like these push the world forward a little.

I've had a number of profound, spiritual experiences. Seeing my aura, seeing a crown of light around my head the glowed and spun, seeing the tree of life on mdma, out of body experiences, etc. But I'm "Into" this stuff, the more you look the more you find. I'm still learning, i havnt mastered anything I can call upon, except maybe my aura. But I know something about ANYTHING. Throw something at me and I can tell you about it or find you some info.

To answer your question, I read the I Ching a lot (its corresponds with our dna and the random, intuitive parts of life)I ask it about Self improvement, looking for a job. You have to balance the spiritual with the everyday reality. I don't, this stuff fascinates me. I see myself exploring more when I'm older and my finances are straight.

Oh I feel, destined. Like relaying this info is something I do and the world needs at this point in history. Raising the consciousness of the people. We understand more of the universe or at least nudge ourselves to ask more questions, gain new perspectives, for a better tomorrow. That's the evolution of man. Thousands of years of human history into the person typing on the computer, spiraling outwards into the readers, rippling into their thoughts, interactions, etc.

Ever consider astrology and reincarnation and all this? The thought that your soul before you were born into this life is like looking down at earth from space or heaven or wherever and jumping into your current body at birth on YOUR birthday, your coordinates in time and space and the planets and stars are also aligned in such a way that your born with a unique energy signature on that same soul?

And this soul combines with a body, of a lineage from your two parents, each with their own bloodline that links back to the origin of man on earth. And your soul and body and mind grow for XX amount of years in this aquarium of a life we call modern society. And we grow and learn and navigate the world, study history and ask: Why is it built the way it is?

And then we look towards the future. Some ask material things like, what am I doing next week? How do I pay these bills.

Others ask what is the future of man in another 2000 years. And some stop to realize we are creating that future now. Some couldn't care less.

It fascinates me how we or they, in the past, created the problems we have today. It's with that same awareness we can start to ask, what is the utopia of the future going to be and how quickly can we create it.

This society is a man made illusion and the reflection of the darkness, ignorance and confusions in our minds and hearts. The physical manifestations of what goes on inside of us. The same way art is self expression, the world today is the expression of the humans that inhabit it, within our lifetimes, and on the heels and the cusp of the future and past simultaneously.

Lol, i get carried away but this is how I think and see the world everyday. Big and small, like I'm in it and I'm out of it, past present and future all at once, with as much black and white as possible when thinking about it. Color is living it.
