Werdum is next. He's been next for months. He's been telling people in private. He's known since he beat Big Nog.

i think that makes sense. the only other guy i could see them throwing at cain (that has a chance, at least) is gifting cormier a shot but he's shooting for 205 right now.

it's a somewhat interesting fight. werdum can be nasty in the clinch and he's obviously badass on the mat...he's the best contender they have right now. :manny:

Yup, the only thing that sucks is it's almost guaranteed they're going to do a TUF MEXICO first. Werdum sits out way too long. Dude is just wasting him prime being in the UFC. They use him more to break into new markets than they use him fighting.

TUF mexico? with cain? versus who? werdum?

if so, that sounds stupid. the fukk are you gonna waste time having cain and werdum coaching a bunch of guys who are literally half their size for when you can have them headline a card months earlier.

Would they really do that and have the title on hold for almost a year? Thats ridiculous. Let gilbert melendez/anthony pettis do that. I know Werdum does spanish announcing but that makes no sense unless they do a brazil vs mexico theme.

They're just sending Cung as a mentor to two different coaches. He won't coach, which is even worse. It will be two local fighters and Cung will be the Dana White of TUF ( how he introduces them and gives speeches and shyt.)

I'd expect to see Cung VS Mousasi at 185 early next year.

I was just on the MMAdecisions website and 2 judges scored the Dolloway/Boetsch fight 30-26 for Boetsch, what the fukk? That makes zero sense.

As far as possible title shots go, ya'll are forgetting Barnett/Browne winner (Barnett).

Both of those would be a tough sell. Barnett already got throttled by Cain's training partner and Browne honestly should have had that fight with Overeem stopped. He caught a really lucky break

I don't know. I think Cain would've gave him his toughest fight but Fedor would win it late.
Fedor hits way harder than Cain. Ridiculous submission game too with that Russian Sambo. Cain would have his work cut out for him.
