I've probably posted this a million times but I was never a fan of the YB or Gallows/Anderson's characters. They were almost the worst part of any NJPW show for me. YB I get why people liked, but I never understood how anyone would like the Gallows/Anderson's "humor". shyt was so corny and white. The Gallows/Anderson tags were the most boring part of any NJPW show IMO.

And Don Callis turned Impact into a low rate indy with shyt production values and hired a multitude of ugly, slovenly and unkempt cacs before he bailed on them.

i get the use of stables to that degree in the sense that it's the Japanese model and it gets everyone on TV but ehhh roster is way too bloated now.

It would seem that way, but Tony Khan probably wrote TNA a very nice check to rent their title. I'm pretty sure that Steve Harvey's company is more than happy with the money that they received; and other than the Good Brothers, no TNA talemt has gotten caught up in the AEW goofiness.

If AEW fans marked out for Brian Cardona, Yuji Nagata, & Japanese deathmatch legend Dr. Luther, then they would surely "care about" the TNA rasslers that mentioned.

How do you botch a BC reunion AND the Forbidden Door? I expected it to lead to that BC Elite vs. OG Style Bullet Club showdown people have been fantasy booking all this time. I don't mind Gallows and Anderson per se, but they are only going to be as good as their surroundings; they aren't elevating shyt. Also their corny humor is extra grating when the whole stable is just corny humor. On paper this looked like a layup but AEW airballed the shyt out of this. Didn't seem like they had any real plans beyond getting IMPACT's title on Omega's shoulder. Okay, now what? Realistically a cross promotional belt collector would have so many people on his head you'd have storylines for years. A guy from another company beat your champ and took the title home. And the IMPACT roster doesn't seem to give a damn.

In all fairness, that angle would have been logistically tough to pull off right away between quarantines in Japan as far as people coming into the country and NJPW having issues with outbreaks in their locker room. Not to mention Florida being Florida.
