The time is right and prime for a competitor to come in and take over domestic shipping. If Amazon can figure something out they'd kill USPS. They don't even need to be profitable with it.
Yeah there is a huge movement from economist going on now that is shunning GDP in favor of a metric that includes social categories in the calculus.
