Your memory's just bad, breh... They definitely ran the hell outta the feuds I mentioned on Raw, Smackdown, and PPVs. Wasn't just no bunch of one-and-done going on especially with feuds that lasted for more than a month. Go check out Peacock, they got all or at least most of the episodes and all the PPVs.

You just arguing for the sake of arguing :hhh:

For the very few feuds you can name that had back to back matches, there were at least 50 that did not.

Even the ones you named were spread out over months if not years

Nowadays damn near every single feud has them wrestling multiple times within a month. And half the matches at PPVs were the same exact match as the last PPV, none of this was a thing in the 90s :unimpressed:

Breh, I got better things to do than just argue about something this minor and irrelevant to real life, it's not THAT serious :pachaha: But this whole narrative "back in the day, everything would be one-and-done, then they wouldn't wrestle again for months or years" is just not true, especially with the top guys. You might only remember one match, but most of the feuds we remember (especially from the mid-90s and later) had rematches either on TV or PPV in the same time frame. shyt, they ran Rock/HHH so much, it was strange to see them feud with other people.

The worst thing is when they run a match on PPV and then run a rematch the next week, well wtf was the point of the PPV then? :why:

I saw Lashley beat Drew at Mainia…….. stopped watching for like 2 months….. then come back to see he still wrestling Drew and had several matches with him on top of the Mainia match and the matches they had before Mainia…. Like wtf?

I feel like WWE needs more first-time matches. The matches where two wrestlers haven't faced each other one-on-one before. I feel like they used to have them, but with everybody facing everybody for free on TV, that doesn't happen anymore.

Like when John Cena faced Batista at SummerSlam in 2008. Two of the biggest stars on the roster and they had never faced each other before that. What's the 2021 equivalent to that? I don't know if there even is one because if you're a top guy, you're facing all the top guys as soon as possible.

We almost had something in 2018 with Lashley and Lesnar, but WWE thought it would be better to give Roman Reigns another title shot. :francis:
