I liked it although I thought it was a bit too predictable. Tom Hardy is great as the seemingly slow-witted barkeep, might just be the best performance I've seen all year. Gandolfini delivered a typical performance of his, good but not really that special. I liked how it's essentially a crime film that has little to no violence in it, and what little there is, is perfectly presented as something these guys have so gotten used to it that their reactions are comically wry.

I think that might've been my issue with it. It wasn't a bad movie, but I was hoping for a bit more violence. The scene in the bar towards the end was especially his reaction thereafter, gave the character a Harvin Marrison vibe despite looking more like Carson Palmer.

It was ok bout as good as I expected it to be but it could of been so much better. Tom Hardy killed it and I love Gandolpiffini but he was just so so in this. Tom Hardy got me good I thought he was gonna be half a retard the whole movie.

it was straight, thought it was way too much build up tho. Like u know hardy isnt wat he seems so why they wait til the last 10min of the movie for him to do something is beyond me

this is my fav. scene. the way they casually talk about the fact Liotta did nothing wrong, but he's still gotta be hit due to public perception, fukking

This movie was great. at anyone who says it is not. It is like Mystic River, Gone baby Gone and shyt like that, don't expect car chases and shyt.

That dog was so cute though.

the blu-ray cover is awful though. shoulda used the poster. (i spend too much time on the blu forum their nitpicking is rubbing off on me )
