Good start to the fall movie season

I do agree that trailer is pretty bland... if your reaction after seeing that is

" might be decent"

then go see it.

The theater I wen to was pretty much all old people. Like seriously 70+ years of age. As soon as the movie started this old guy behind me in a wheelchair kept groaning to the point that I though the dude was dying. Then I heard his wife hit him and tell him to quiet down


This guy did this like 5-6 times I honestly almost walked out and tried to get my money back but fukkin old people. Go to the movies on Friday night and deal with the fukking teenagers or go during a matinee and deal with grandma and grandpa.

Cant win.

Except for Love means War, Tom hardy can do no wrong. But I can't lie, I prefer "The Take" and "Bronson" and The Dark Knight Rises Hardy to the protagonist Hardy films...dude is magnificent as a villain

If you like Mystic River or Gone Baby Gone.....then see this immediately. It was written by the same guy and definitely FEELS like those movies. And the performances are pretty special, Hardy in particular. He's doing something you've definitely never seen from him.

They're both good, though I much prefer GBG. I think Sean Penn's overacting ass takes a lot away from Mystic River.
