Exactly... you at least gotta get to that level first before you start gettin' injured all the time nshyt. Angle didn't get injured and have to take time off until like 2003- by then he had won the title like 4 times and main evented Mania. That's nowhere near the same thing as Barrett. Barrett and Kennedy were the kings of injuries. If they coulda gone a solid year without gettin' injured, they could've established a run. Mark Henry was known for gettin' fukked up and takin' maaaad time off, but once he started stayin' healthy, he got the push of his career.
They shoulda just rolled with the Bad News gimmick... if the fans liked it, fukk it, turn him face and let him talk shyt to the heels. Makes no sense to take away a guy's gimmick that he successfully got over. That'd be like if Vince woulda stopped Jake from carrying the snake when he started gettin' over. It helps no one. Granted, Wade was mostly a heelish wrestler/character... but they had something there. They could've sold t-shirts and had some great TV with that gimmick, at least until the next time he got injured
I wish they'd just roll with shyt more often. It's like sometimes they do, and then other times they resist like a MF.

Barrett getting injured all the time during his best runs didn't help either. The E could have pushed him better at times but its not like they didn't give him multiple chances time and time again and every time he got some momentum it seemed he ended up getting hurt.
