Nah, if they want someone in a certain position they'll be there

It's true, but if you constantly get injured, they'll lose faith in you. Just look at Ahmed Johnson. Vince loved that dude like a son, about as much as he loved HBK, but he kept getting injured and basically just kept him as a mid carder.

Nahhhhhhhh only person he love that much is Roman.

HHH & Cena have had many injuries yet they've always been well kept.

They pick him every week you contrarian dumbass :mjlol:
After WWE gave him the ball, which he never would have got if Dean didn't tank the ratings :umad:

Facts are the FCW/OG NXT guys produced no Cena Orton Brock or Batista, so WWE is trying any and everyone while they still have those guys around to elevate them.

But I'm the contrarian. Got it.

WWE didn't really miss much by not making him a star or giving him a huge push. :yeshrug: He couldn't stay healthy anyway.

Barrett was a victim to the fact.
this company is inept and is so busy trying to ruin the talent's experience via pre-disposed burial.
before they even can be anything under the supposed idea of wwe parity. Which at this point is subterfuge and deflection based on the fact. this company does not want to create a draw.
that supercedes this company and their son-in-law.
When said son-in-law and the company ideal of what a draw is, is simply limited.
By the simple fact the son-in-law was never a draw.
Including the accompanying fact, the family being used as a character device is a dead draw that is dated by twenty years. That still illustrates this company is scared to show vulnerability. When the only way to build a draw in wrasslin is by showing vulnerability.

this company is so inept,...
it had a show it railroaded in the opening discovery zone phase in NXT, when it initially launched. It required the format to have to be relaunched. When, if it originally was booked intelligently. The entire brand would have been a seemless draw with fan importance.
that did not Drop off from the main brand. instead of being relaunched as a pigeonhole based minor league system. That is a damning placeholder for already developed Indy talent.
that does not need to be reoriented to the WWE braintrust.
The braintrust being a product based on purposeful low quality and big is better is the way. When NXT, could have been a launch pad to ramping up the quality dynamic company wide. Plus, moving away from the damning carni based mantra of bigger is better.
with Barrett he represented a time when WWE by accident figured it out and then ran away from what they created like an abandoned step child. In favor of the stereotypical Viacom reality star in the miz. since the move was made to not audible the title onto Barrett.
when it made sense to in NXT'S origin. Barrett was proverbially still stuck behind the miz going over for the what would have made the company vulnerable and rebranded the WWE title with the simple nxt sticker to rebrand the WWE title as the nxt title.
Then if that happened simply WWE could have created continuity and actually maximized both failed nwo and clique braintrust to create the end all be all brand split at mania. With whomever was the nxt Gen one guard champion versus the WWE guy looking to strip a simple sticker off the WWE title. Thus falling into this supposed son-in-law is the bar and clique braintrust and sweet spot.
Which creatively gave credence to the ideal of the son in law and the family ideal or legacy of the WWE has importance.
It would have also given the company brand of WWE a starting origins point in continuity to move forward creatively as well.
As it would have broken the creative wall a d draw potential of the WWE changing the face or hero dynamic to the son-in-law ideal at mania 2000 over Mick Foley and the rock. NXT, originally could have actually furthered this brand ideal if intelligently written and created consumer appeal and draw.
Giving both brands internal originality based continuity under both newly rebranded WWE and nxt internal based nameplates and shows to market that had consumer high appeal individually.
Instead Barret and this whole brilliant turn to aid the past linkage in continuity and create simple psychology of both brands was lost and trapped in son -in-law is thee bar creative limbo hell.
Just like all the talent in the WWE is still stuck twenty years later. under the ideal of the supposed son-in-law is the bar.
plus, trapped under the stack of metal chairs in WWE creative limbo hell.
after cena dropped said stack of chairs on to Barrett to further bury him as a credible villain under simple WWE consumer ideals and marketing as well.
Barrett was just a victim to the WWE and their inability to move from their carni roots and ideals of low quality and bigger is better is the way. That he was never going to be moved into a more realistic role that was indicative of his talent. Plus, WWE lacked psychology as an overall product.
to get past Barrett being booked wrongly in his early incubation and Barrett never recovered and it was never his fault. As Barrett did everything necessary in any realistic ideal based environment to be a success.
yet WWE as a product base has never been good at relaunching talent they pigeonholed and buried in favor of the son in law not being upstaged.
behind their big is better and it is not supposed to be good braintrust and carni company focused ideals.

I remember years ago around the time frame that Regal was King of the Ring and was on the verge of maybe becoming WWE Champion that someone was telling me that Vince really doesn't care for european wrestlers for whatever reason and doesn't like to push them.

With Regal's downfall, Barrett's downfall, Sheamus questionable pushes and the lack of main event push for Cesaro I can see some weight to that statement.
