You all will probably be old or dead before Stark is recast. :wow:

Recasting Tony Stark would be like recasting Luke Skywalker. It won't happen in our lifetimes.

Batman however, will have been recast 7 times since 1989 and 3 times since 2012.

That because there was a batman in the 50s and 60s
Batman has been in movies and tv way longer then iron man.

Bale should still be Batman :ld:

The character has been reduced to a symbol instead of a character. And technically, that should be the case. But no actor has taken command of the role to compel exclusivity.

Translation: You're making a weak ass excuse :sas2:

I am sure some guy in 60s was saying adam west could never play batman just like there were people in 80s saying Michael Keaton could not play batman.

You are ignoring history to prop up your weak argument

RDJ was a terrible “Tony Stark” though.. nothing like the Stark I’ve read in comics.

You're making the excuse for why Marvel was right to not recast T'challa. Marvel doesn't specialize in making symbols. They make people that you feel something for and identify with.

The MCU hasn't recast anyone since the MCU got into full swing. (Norton and Terrence Howard were before the MCU truly knew what it wanted to be)

They realized quickly that recasting actors would not enable them to connect to the audience the way they needed to be able to do in order to make this thing a hit.

If stan wars existed in the 60s, that would be hilarious. Brehs with afros debating the finer points of the Adam West batman :deadmanny:

Recasting T'Challa isn't really necessary. Because others before him carried the mantle of King and Black Panther. And with how everything in the MCU has changed, it wouldn't be mission impossible.

What I don't want is for them to down grade the character as a whole and not make BP an integral part of the future of the MCU :mjpls:

Because if that's the case, I'm all for recasting. Honestly, the further Bosemans death has passed, the more I'm ok with recasting to be honest :manny:

when I see RDJ I see Tony stark the mannerisms, how he talks acts it's like he wasn't acting

agreed. when they first thought of doing Iron Man, immediately thought RDJ. And they got him.

But he'll be eating off Infinity Saga residuals for the rest of his life. :wow:
