If yall havent noticed yet; getting jerked big time and simultaneously becoming the biggest artist in the game goes
hand-in-hand. Always has.

See Dr. Dre. See Snoop Dogg, who basically didnt get much or really own anything. See 2pac right outta jail, which is partly why he
became the focus on Death Row/Interscope. See Biggie. See The Lox. See Lil' Wayne. List goes on.

Noticed how all these artist has at one point been the biggest artists and/or been apart of the biggest crews?

Its basic rule in the game. What most artist do is to take that L to make it to the game, and after that hopefully flip their contracts
and set up enough businesses to make enough living. Thats if you make it that far tho. Which is what seems to be the case for cats
like Drake. He has enough ventures outside to hold him down.

Duke is a blantent hater.

Dre made plenty beats by himself and the proof is when you look at Eminems production. Notice how it sounds exactly like Dre's signature stuff. That couldnt have come from all ghost producers.

Dre knows his style; he pretty much made another Dre when you listen to Eminem's beats.

I think its pretty clear that what Dre does, at most, is mixing. Other producer'll do the work but then he'll take it to a bigger studio, add in
a certain structure, lay a hook he sees fit or whatever. So basically he's a producer and not a beatmaker.

But back to my first point - mixing.

Take this song:

Produced by Gotti & Lil' Rob, but still sounds like a Dre beat from that year (1999), esp the mixing & how the bass sounds.

smh. no.

Dre mixes, but Dre is a beat maker as well and a beat-finisher. He has gained OG status and takes on the tracks of young dudes and puts his finesse (which is what OG's are supposed to do).

And he has been accused of these things since the Death Row days, was he "OG status" then too?

People forget Dre was almost 30 when Death Row started

I know that but i dont know about no OG. Wreckin Cru wasnt even hip-hop, it was electro music fusioned with some rap. And 2 NWA albums.

Regardless tho you're argument is vague if its based on what you saw in Eminem's production. I can still be influenced by, say, a Premo beat even if he never really did the beat, get it? It's still a very vague argument to use to prove that Dre fully did those beats.

You can argue me, but you cant argue countless of people saying it either. Im not even saying its 100% true, i just said it would make sense & it feels like it has some truth to it.

"2 NWA albums" ?

exhibit A: Ruthless Records discography

Ruthless Records discography - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

JJ Fad was the FIRST female group nominated for a Grammy on a GOLD record produced by Dr. Dre

Supersonic (J.J. Fad song) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

No One Can Do It Better went plat and is a Hip-Hop classic fully produced by Dr. Dre

Michele went Gold 5 weeks after her album dropped not to mention her gold selling singles all produced by Dr. Dre

this is away from the NWA/Eazy E solo stuff that went multi plat

Dr. Dre was a certified hit maker at this point. He even did Deep Cover in the in-between of Ruthless/Death Row

DJ Yella "Me & Dre produced EVERYTHING on Ruthless too"

Yella hasnt been shyt post Dre. Dre went on to become to much of a legend with Death Row; you forget he was in the game for almost 10 years BEFORE Death Row.

Dre was a certified music OG in '92 before The Chronic. Find me someone that questioned the era when Dre was putting in the ground work and I will believe you. Otherwise you are listening to be bunch of bitter understudies.

These haters stay trying to discredit the GOAT. But his track record can't be disputed.

Im saying!!!!

and Dre put on SO MANY people across the board!!!!

and, how black people tend to be, so many people wanna stab Dre in the back.

When someone get OG status they supposed to open the door for the next gen and thats all Dre did after he had 5-6 plat plaques and Grammy nominations in only 92.

^^^ 9:45 even look at how people shyt on Jerry Heller when he is the one that GAMBLED on everything!

11:14 Dre PRODUCED HER ENTIRE ALBUM & DOC's

Vlad: How involved was Yella in the production???

Michele: Yella was in the crates.

...so guess where Dre was?? :wow:

on them boards.:usure:

Michele got $8k for signing on the rival label and nikkaz in here wanna bytch about 5k on a contract not understanding its oppurtunity over EVERYTHING

"Boyz In Da Hood" Dre made the beat.

This for those who wanna discredit Dre's Ruthless discography and say Yella did all the work. :martin:

I know about that. You need to calm down. You sounding way too emotional like anybody out here dissing your fam or coming at you.

That quote from Yella doesnt say a thing wtf. Technically Dre produced being that engineering & "finesses", as you said, can be seen as producing. You claimed he was a beatmaker, a producer and also a "OG status finesser" (smh)..but where's your proof?

You really asking ME to show YOU proof when you can just type it on Google/Youtube and look throughout his history who've he worked with. It aint nothing new. Its been said since the Death Row days. But you not showing me ANY proof other than your own perceptions & a Yella quote..and "credits" lmao. Thats the point thats been made. Credit = facts to you?

DJ Quik has spoken about it, Chris The Glove, Warren G, Daz, even Snoop (and stated what i said in my EARLIER post in the thread!), Suge, 2pac ...should i really continue?

You obviously hold Dre in such a high regard to where you're reacting emotionally almost. So you're already decided in your head on whats right so theres really no point in
