Pac was by far the most popluar rapper at the time in Atlanta. He was my favorite rapper by a mile. Ras Kass and Roots was my top guys till I started to listen to mainstream and Pac and Snoop became my favs.

I always look at that as the biggest turning point in rap/hip hop I was 18 at the time and had just graduated and went off to boot camp and in those 3 months so much happened culminating in his passing......so when I got back home from "leave" feeling more "grown up" .......it seemed nothing like it did when I was in school....... it really felt like a part of hip hop died or donated a kidney and continued to live with one a kidney(terrible analogy I know) and now it's on full blown dyalysis with the never-ending stream of one hit wonders.....but for me it was an eerie feeling in hip hop...
