The Dark Knight Rises reviews coming in

Is that the scene where a dude is running and the field collapses behind him? if it is that is the scene in the trailer that got me nervous that this flick is going to take a detour from the others.Nolan has always used CGI in moderation and wisely but that scene looked like shyt.I hope it looks better on the big screen

if u watched the behind the scenes 13 minute trailer, most of that was REAL and not CG..

To the people that keep asking why is "The Avengers" getting higher ratings than this movie....maybe because critics like it more?

Both of these movies are PG-13, and about super heroes. Neither one of them is some kinda cinematic high water mark. If you feel "TDK" is masterwork film making you seriously need to broaden your horizons.

This movie is not "TDK". Why the fukk do people keep bringing up how well received "TDK" was? This is a different movie. It's funny how this movie was 100% on RT, got 1 bad review, and people called that person a hater....now here we are with it at 85% and suddenly Marvel is paying people off? I'm almost hoping it drops below 85% just to see what kinda wild conspiracy theory you guys cook up next.

the majority of the reviews are overwhelmingly positive.. stating it either SURPASSES TDK or at the very LEAST just as good!

the several negative reviews are mostly those trolling so they can get hits to their website OR complaining about no joker being in there, or the script is too bloated

6 of the bad reviews are from Top Critics on RT. You seriously think a writer for the Associated Press or The NY Observer gives a fukk about trolling for web hits?

The level of delusion on display in this thread is amazing. Not only did Marvel pay off critics, other critics are trolling for website hits. You guys should've wrote for "The X-Files" back in the day.

Rated Pg-13 with a final fight of gun toting cops and villains having a fist fight. O the realism. Shoulda just put on the theme to Beat It and had a dance off between Bane and Batman.

You obviously already have your mind made up about this movie before even seeing it. No point in going back and forth with you on it

i did not say no CG was used... was stating that they DID blow the field! nolan ALWAYS been notorious of actually blowing shyt up rather than using CG...they actually did have explosives scattered all over the field timed to explode. the CG was added later for effect.. but MOST of that scene wasn't CG.

and still, they don't make the majority that LOVED the movie... no matter how u spin it. the majority rules.

This is mirroring what took place in the Prometheus thread. People were calling it a masterpiece a month before it was released. When the reviews started pouring in and they weren't 100% positive people started to look for their pitchforks and saying all kids of crazy shyt about the critics. Then when we all saw it we realized they were right.

Just wait until tomorrow and you can make up your mind for yourself on what the movie deserves.
