i was wondering the exact same thing

I was too, it wasn't completely blockaded tho, food shipments were allowed in.. but I just read this

So which is it?! Nolanites keep calling his Batman movies the most realistic with no hint of fantasy but when plot holes are talked about, the call is to suspend belief.

You can't have it both ways

No arguing breh...Nolan stans stay coppin pleas. Still a good movie.

No but I'm still smh at them shooting Gotham in 3 different cities. I mean come on! It just looks stupid to someone who follows sports and knows what new York and Chicago look like. And it's impossible to keep that many people from escaping.

nolan LONG stated his reasons:

1.) gotham is suppose to be a massive city, larger than any other city in the country. and this is based on the comics

2.) with THAT in mind, nolan already shot ALL of chicago in the 1st two films and needed to expand the look and scale of the city as it properly suppose to be.

3.) nolan wanted a realistic feel and therefore wanted to use realistic landmarks and not waste it on CG.

if you COMPLAIN about something as trivial as that...then you are not a movie lover at all.

up to that point in the movie i figured gordon knew

and smh@bruce wayne not knowing slina kyle is catwoman and vice versa, they were like "my friend" this "my friend" that. but i cant complain bc thats just superhero ish like superman/clark kent but still

They distracted Bane's entire army so gordon could find the truck and batman could do work on bane.

They didn't know Batman was back fam....

nah I dont think so. She looked surprise when Bane said his name.

bruce knew who selina kyle from the JUMP. there was no hiding her identity. selina kyle did not know bruce was batman ORIGINALLY until bane exposed it.

since then they knew their identities.

This sh1t was all over the place...

They would of been better served splitting it up into two movies instead of trying to cram soo much material in like this...The pacing was simply terrible...

I mean how does this nikka go from being in a prison on the other side of the world to Gotham in 30 seconds...

and why the fukk were Bane's soldiers shooting at the ground instead of the cops charging at them?

That said the acting was great (especially from Hardy and the dude that plays Alfred) and so was the ending...

This movie shyts on the Avengers. (and I loved the avengers). You can't top Nolan the gawd.


She might not have known who he was but Wayne definitely knew Selina Kyle was fukking catwoman. and I still think she knew Wayne was batman.

Breh, did you not notice the look? that shyt was clear as day. She already felt bad that she set that nikka up and was turning away like then the nikka bane goes Mr. Wayne and she literally stops, turns around and goes

Exactly, I don't care what "look" she had on her face when she gave batman to bane, Selina kyle knew that Bruce wayne was batman. Thats why she was so upset when she had to give him to bane

At the ball, Bruce let her know that he knew about her past and what she was up to, that's about it. There's no indication during that scene that she knew he was Batman.

And when she locked that gate on Bats right before the 1st Bane fight, she had the . It wasn't until Bane called him by his gov't that she realized Bruce = Batman.

And what was them marching into a massacre going to accomplish? Their plan literally had a ZERO percent chance at success.




I liked the movie. A lot.

it was a two-part reason for this:

1.) they had to do their best (and they technically suceeded) in overtake the mercinaries

2.) by pulling all the mercinaries altogether, it left open the chance for gordon to put the device back into the detonator to avoid manual detonation.


both being successes.... the only mishap was them not knowing that the timer was indestructible, and talia escaping.
