I was lightweight thinking that shyt too....have the first half come out in the summer...and the 2nd half in the winter..

The Dark Knight Rises ranks four and a half mics. The plot is paper thin. I am bored with the idea of totally mad villians bent on destruction for destruction's sake. I'm equally bored with ticking time bombs and explosives in general. I consider these as minor flaws. The execution was wonderful. The acting was spot on, the effects were exhilarating, and comic book elements were realistically rendered.
I'll pan it a little more just for fun: Batman's voice is wack. This Batman's fighting style is too pedestrian. Comic Bats is acrobatic. He does flying kicks and handsprings and shyt. I kinda like the way he reduced the entire legend of Bats into few intense periods of Bruce's life which took a huge toll each time - interesting as a departure from the source which differentiates the movie -, but that takes the oomph out if him. He does battle, years later limps back into action, then retires? Kinda fragile compared to the comic. Bats resilience is second only to his prep as his unofficial 'super' powers.
Watching this movie Friday evening after the CO shooting was terrifying. I knew intellectually that it was unlikely that anything would happen, but emotionally it was impossible to ignore. The stock exchange scene was especially tense.

I have no strings on me.
OK... Just seen it for the 2nd time today..
and Bruce is alive..
1.)When batman came back to gothem, he told fox that auto-pilot wasn't working, but when he told him, he kind of paused and look away.
2.) Gordon was suprised to see the bat calling/signal fixed, he started rubbing it and kind of ran away.
3.)The Engineers told fox it was fixed 6 months ago( I mean what more do you need?)
4.) In Alfred fantasy Bruce was sitting in the chair w/ his back to him( I know its not fool proof, but helps ).
5.) Bruce was giving Blake tips, from that scene alot , you can tell bruce didnt plan on returnining.

I'm so glad I didn't read anything about the movie for the past year. Talia revealing herself had a nikka almost in the aisle like
