I watched this and The Amazing Spider-Man last night.

DKR:
It wasn't as enjoyable as The Dark Knight.
In fact i think the Dark Knight is better.
It was a let down really.

I tried really hard to like it, lol.
Couldnt get into it.

Yeah. I think the biggest problem with the movie is it's pacing. I feel it shoulda been two movies. With the first movie ending right around when Bruce gets stuck in the prison.

If they did that, Batman would've been in costume for like 5 minutes. nikkas would've rioted in those theaters.

So nikkas gonna believe a terrorist is quoting the Comish just because he's reading from some dusty as scrap papers?

I'm starting to think Nolan and whoever wrote the script was just having fun out there.

Finally saw the movie on Tuesday.

TDK >> TDKR >>> BB

I'd give it a 3.5/4 stars. Didn't surpass The Dark Knight but was still a damn good movie and had it's own identity. I like that Nolan didn't fall into the trap of trying to create TDK redux. The Dark Knight Rises is a comeback/origin movie. I liked the reveal at the end. I was like that's why the cop was in the movie so much. I don't know why there was any speculation on who he is in Nolan's Gotham. He is exactly who his name says and if you look at the movie, he does kinda play that role to Batman.


Gotdamn @ the ass whooping Bane gave Batman. I was kinda and at the same time because according to the comics Batman was never a match for Bane's physicality and Nolan stayed true to that. Also, it showed that none of the shyt Ra's taught him would work again because they both were once League of Shadows members. "Theatricality and deception are for the uninitiated. But we are initiated"

Also, Bane's swag was on 3 trillion. Very good performance by Hardy. @ dude going around snapping people's necks.

Will be watching TDKR again after I watch TDK this weekend.

batman is the trillest, but they fukked this movie up. Shouldn't have killed two face in the first place, should just have Bane release all the criminals like in the comic.
I never since 3 hours go by with barely anything happening in a movie
