1, that was a very minor issue I had, and I guess I did miss that. Don't know why Wayne referred again to his "powerful friend" when he came back to Gotham then :manny:

But that had no impact on whether it was a good movie or not....to me.

The actual plot/story, disregarding any minor holes, was the bigger problem....a lot of half baked ideas that weren't delivered on.

But u paid to see it twice:what: u better have this on bootleg:snoop:

Bruce didn't, Selina did. She was trying to be funny

Saw it again this afternoon.

Still a mess. Definitely not as great on multiple watches and not as epic as The Dark Knight.

One thing I didn't catch last time...at what point did Selina know Bruce = Bats? It's never explicitly clear when they are in scenes together, but when Blake asks her if they killed Bruce Wayne, she says "she doesn't know"....obviously meaning she left him with them.

But when they're on the bridge later they still act like his identity is a secret.

....and the entire plan of threatening to detonate a nuclear bomb that is going to detonate itself in 12-hours ANYWAY is just a :mindblown: disaster. The whole "take back your city/find the triggerman/:wtf:" arc was a mess too.

...and the cops marching to certain death was still fukking ridiculous.

Oh, and I wish they'd have made Blake's discovery of Wayne/Bats more than "I saw it in your eyes when I was 10" :childplease: I mean, let that be a spark, but then let him actually dig something up or connect other dots. As it plays, it's just a writing cop-out imo.

:manny:

None of the big problems I had with the film were resolved on a second watch.

That's because they're your problems, not the film's. I'd tell you to watch it again but if you still don't understand basics after two viewings then :yeshrug:

I was thinking the other day had Heath not died if Joker and Bane were in this movie how sick it would've been. I don't know if the world was ready to witness that amount of swag on screen all at once.

No the world would not be ready for Jokers swag. shyt, Scarecrow's swag handing out sentencings(I'am sure that is not a word) was off the charts....

Craine was good at getting sh1tted on the last couple of movies that it just became a running joke, he wasnt scary anymore, as for the joker he always had a way of twisting the honest truth even if it was righteous into something ugly, scary enough that theyd all be valid points. I had no problem with the joker being recast since his last words were "I think were destined to do this forever" in a way thats kind of like robbing the audience of an iconic character, but heath ledger died too many people felt struck by it so that didnt leave us with any options

wouldve been

- 5'10" Tom Hardy had to wear 3 inch lifts to make his character Bane appear as tall or taller than fellow co-stars Christian Bale, 'Morgan Freeman', and Michael Caine. (For those complaining about him being shorter than Bale).

:ohhh:

Nolan uses basic camera tricks wit Bane in the entire movie too. The camera is either at ground level or looking up at him or looking down his shoulder when he is speaking to someone to make him appear larger.
