Just saw it a 2nd time, just dawned on me 1 of 2 things happened & realistically prolly both.

1 - Bruce fixed the auto pilot 6 months prior to the ending

2 - He dropped the bomb in the ocean & flew away from the blast

1-:wtf: u just realizing that upon 2nd viewing. it was the recurring theme throughout the film.

2- he didn't drop the bomb in the ocean. that's why he had the autopilot. he ejected himself prior to the BAT crossing through the building and over the bridge and on towards the ocean. (u may need a 3rd viewing).

Im surprised nobody brought up the point that Gotham had peace for 8 years which would contradict the LOS reason to destroy Gotham

i'm surprised you never LISTENED to BANE'S black gate prison speech... listen to it again, then return back to pondering why gotham, in the LoS' eyes deserved to be destroyed.

I did and he was talkin about how Gotham was corrupt which at that point it wasnt. In Begins and TDK the problem with Gotham was that it was ran by the mob but in TDKR the mob is non existent. The only thing that can account for is the fact that it was under false peace from the Harvey Dent Act. Which is why Bane read the letter from Commish Gordon. But he didnt know any of that til he got to Gotham. Therefore their plan was irrelevant since Gotham wasnt how it was when Ras first tried to destroy it.

leaving out the fact that john blake's character is an incarnation of all three "robins" with the most relatable being tim drake whom was the one that figured out batman's identity and was a gifted detective...

you clearly did not listen to the REASON why or HOW he figure out who bruce wayne was.

again, and ra's was saying this in begins as well. gotham wasn't just merely just overran by criminals, it was corrupted to the core. bane's discovery of the letter only proved whut they already suspected. which further gave them fuel to do whut they had to do...

Another thing, and I'm not sure if anyone mentioned, was Bruce doing the whole Clark Kent/Lois Lane "I have a powerful friend" bit with Catwoman. I hated it. That's my only real negative thing about the movie.

In the comics Tim Drake learned dikk Grayson was Robin by his gymnastic moves. Lets be real its the Superman effect, I see Batman in the movie I can see Bale's face.

This movie was ass (especially compared to the 2nd one) I don't care what you guys say.

I guarantee half the people dikk riding this movie will change their minds in a couple months once the hype dies down.

Nope.

All you cats who didn't like it probably had high expectations due to the second one being :gladbron: . That's how it goes with the majority of the public. I expected a bad ass movie and I got it. Sure there were some things that I could criticize, but it didn't take away from the movie.
