Wait….

so people are just now realizing how inept the cowboys front office is? :dahell:

Like this has been going on since Jimmy Johnson left. Consistently. They don’t have a real general manager. They get praised for drafting well, but that’s also a myth. They never figured out how to manage the salary cap. They consistently let good players leave because they can’t afford to keep them. They hold on to players longer than they should. Zach Martin should’ve been traded. Collins should’ve been traded.

They just franchised a backup tight end who can’t block for shyt. They lost a WR who was 4th or 5th on the depth chart, because they never gave him a chance to play until other players got hurt, which increased his value enough to where they couldn’t afford him.

They low ball players thinking people will leave money on the table to wear the star. They don’t win. Why would someone leave money on the table when winning isn’t part of the culture.

Just ghosts. Like I said before, cowboy fans caused this. We support year in and year out, which is why Jerry Jones has never changed.

This is bad. Real bad. Romo and Dak have basically been the difference between being a consistent mediocre team and the Lions.

Look how fast the 49ers bounced back. Look at how the Ravens are runs.

It’s not the players
It’s not the coaches

It’s the Jones family. Point blank period.
Tuck pretty much said this.

DL - Tank, Gallimore and Usi still is better than any DL line we had in recent memory - losing Gregory don't mean that much

LB - Parson, Cox and @dtownreppin214 - serviceable, still ain't finish - LVE & Neal can be easily replaced.

OL - ain't finish

QB - ain't horrible he just dont have the accuracy, vision, awareness or arm.

Ya'll gotta chill with the world is on fire approach because of what other teams are doing. It's clear that the Cowboys are looking for [rookie] contracts but everybody acting like we need to sign every available player at positions of need and we dont.

These players being better/healthy makes this team better next year: Parson in year 2, Bossman over Brown, healthy Tank, 800 yard Diggs, healthy Wilson, 60% snap Hooker, 2 year Osi

Add a LB/DE and let the defense get back to it.

The offense is going to be who they are no matter the skill player :yeshrug:

:hubie:If we going off strictly Madden 22 ratings, Gregory was the 2nd best D-Lineman on the 2021 roster.

This front-office is the only reason why Dak even has a career, so it works both ways.

He walked into a championship-level roster in 16. Was extremely average in 17 and was horrible the first half of 18. If they didnt trade for Amari, Dak is a backup somewhere…

The front-office is horrible, but lets not act like Dak is some prize that they should thank the heavens for. He is a big reason, if not the biggest, as to why we dont advance in the playoffs

At this point Dak is who he is. I do not see him getting better. If the front office wakes up, they need to build this team around Micah and get an offensive coordinator that can scheme around Daks strengths and weaknesses. The front office already invested too much on the offensive side of the ball and the results were mediocre. That experiment should be over and the focus should be molding this team into a defensive juggernaut.
