He's not in the middle. Average qb's don't throw for 37 touchdown passes.
So before we start talking about what Dak is or isn't doing, I want to know why I can watch a trash ass run defense like Green Bay get gashed all year and give up 0 fukking points on offense but our defense gets shredded on the ground and gives up 14 points? Our run defense was better than the Packers damn near every week except for when the playoffs started and then there run defense was SIGNIFICANTLY better than ours. Why?
Oh, you mean when teams get up on the Cowboys early because we start so awfully slow, they tend to run the ball more against us?
Defense only gave up 19 to KC and we couldn't get to double digits.
Basically pitched a shutout in 2nd half vs SF besides the INT deep in our territory from Dak.
Those are the two best teams we played. The two biggest games.
How did he look? How did he throw? How was his decision making? How did he look in the pocket?
This dude was getting delay of games and snapping the ball before his players were set in the biggest game of the season.
I don't give a damn if Zeke finished the game with -48 yards and 3 fumbles lost. That was an embarrassment to the QB position with that kind of composure and poise.
SF-GB was a weather game and it's not a fair comparison to any of the games we played this year. Guys were dropping the ball left and right at Lambeau and it became a sloppy trench fest.
We'd lose that game even worse than either team did, btw, if we were in such a game.
Hard for the defense to do what they want when they're playing from behind.
Sure, they gave up points in Q1. Denver, Kansas City, Oakland, Arizona, San Francisco.
It would be nice if they could count on the QB to show up against quality opponents, though. All those games we gave up some points (never insurmountable, not even close) and the offense just fukked around for the first 30 minutes of the game. Sometimes the
entire game until the 4th.
Run was getting stuffed, but make no mistake, your homie under center looked horrendous in each and every one of those games besides Oakland.
Gameflow is awful in all of our losses except Tampa, and Dak throwing is a massive reason why in every one of those 5 games.
Run was getting stuffed vs Tampa as well but he was able to engineer the offense with his arm. Props to him. How about in the other 5 losses?
Don't tell me you're puffing your chest out about "8 TDs in 2 games against the Eagles." They basically played their backups the entire second game and treated it like it was less than a preseason game.
Meanwhile we trotted Zeke out there for 1k and hoped Dak could find his rhythm for the playoffs.
Ryan Tannehill has more 4,000 yard seasons than Joe Montana. What am I supposed to do with Dak's numbers?
Nick Foles had a 27-2 td-int stretch in 2013 as a starter. How impressed should I be with Dak's QBR?
We lament the defense not coming up stronger in these losses. Meanwhile we can’t ever accrue talent on that side of the ball because we’re stuck chasing All Pro OL and Pro Bowl WRs, TE, and RB for Dak. And it’s never enough.
