Good for Coop. He's still only 27 so he's just now in the prime of his career. Wherever he lands, he'll be more appreciated and he'll continue to be a beast.

Flabbergasted that Dallas would just cut him for NOTHING in return, but I assume they have to do it that way to get the benefit of the cap relief.

Either way, Treylon Burks has to be the target for Dallas now.
Coop isnt worth anywhere near what he is being paid.

$20m/year for 80 catches 1000yds 6tds a season?

Cooper is one of those WRs where the on-paper stats do not tell the story of how good/talented he actually is. Also, for a team's No. 1 WR, his amount of targets are surprisingly low.

With where he is right now in terms of ability and route-running, a different situation may be just what he needs.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Cooper got traded away by the raiders.

I remember people saying he wasn’t worth the contract he got.

part of the reason Dak’s numbers went up is because they got rid of Linehan

They didn’t do shyt with Cooper/Lamb/Gallop so why would you run it back.

After what happened last year and how he handled COVID, he wasn’t all in anyway. The Offense started it’s decline when he missed those games and they never fully recovered.

Just like Cowboys fans on Twitter, Cowherd says he'd bush Zeke in a heartbeat instead of cutting Amari:

The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly likely to release wide receiver Amari Cooper, a decision that would be a big mistake according to Colin Cowherd. Watch as Colin lays out why Cooper has been influential to Dak Prescott's success, and urges Dallas to keep him on. Plus, Malik Willis has been an early standout in Day 1 of the NFL Combine. Colin breaks down why he would draft this former Auburn quarterback.
