But you said they could get anyone they wanted and I posted an example of that not being true, so what does how much they can possibly bring even matter? As for MJF being good for business I don't see that being true, since ratings and attendance say otherwise.
Yeah I suppose WWE cannot literally get anyone they want as people have free will to make their own choices, regardless of clearly better money or opportunities.

Are you saying MJF is not a draw?

If you look at attendance & ratings he isn’t a draw

He has good matches but is overrated in promos

they need HBK booking the main roster like yesterday, Theory jobbed out, not taking advantage of this New Day heel run, Rhea putting the instrumentals on Iyo & Bianca not once but twice in 5 minutes..HHH needs to be stopped :beli:
Roman lowkey went:camby:to the new direction of the company, because he was never this absent outside of the start of the pandemic. HHH is trying to bring back an era that was one of Vince's lowest periods

If someone wrecked 3 cars how confident are you that they won't wreck the 4th?

So in this same context, does this apply to wrestlers of other demographics? Dragon Lee ain't settin' the world on fire, nor has Santos Escobar, and Andrade is just doing OK I guess... does that have ANYTHING to do with PENTA? Black wrestlers are not monolithic, just like anyone else of any other race/nationality/gender are not... Oba Femi in NXT alone is far more charismatic and interesting than say, Apollo Crews or Omos have ever been on the main roster- why would we automatically believe his trajectory would be the same as theirs without actually seeing what happens?

We have MVP a working wrestler in a different company warning people every couple months that Hunter is a racist, so it's a bit different there. Then there's his problematic feud with Booker T. If a black wrestler gets super over on their own, I doubt Hunter will actively sabotage them. Although, looking at LA Knight who got mega over, he also won't capitalize on them unless they're in his plans.

Whether Hunter will put singles black wrestlers in a position where they can get over with the crowd is to be determined.

Like there's something there with Theory but he's never been given any opportunities by Hunter. But when he had that triple threat in NXT with Oba, HBK advanced the A-Town Down Under break up and made them interesting, all for Hunter to forget that ever happened.

This isn't true. MJF was widely considered a "draw" for AEW up until the entire company started losing viewership because of the incredibly lazy/bad booking they had going on.

I remember seeing MJF pulling up million quarter hours even with the Adam Cole feud. Same with Omega. Even Mercedes had high quarters when she first came in.

Now it's all a moot point because there's no way to know what the viewership on Max is. What we do know is that the PPV business is still very lucrative for them. They had over 11k at least at the Crypt the other night and the buyrate ended up being 140,000 at $50 per buy. That's on the backs of the talents I just named to go with Toni Storm and Swerve and maybe a couple others.
