What happened to that stifling defense that swept Brooklyn last season? Smart is having no impact on this series at all. No clue why Boston would bench Robert Williams. YOu aren't going to win that three point battle vs Miami. So at least try to punish them inside and dominate with points in the paint.

That stifling defense took 7 games to take out Miami last year and game 7 was a one possession game with less than 30 seconds left
Miami is not Brooklyn. Jimmy is not KD who folds against physical defense and coughs up the ball.

It only works when they can frustrate and fluster the team they’re defending. The Heat just seem to do their thing and play like they don’t give AF. No matter what they just fall back on their structured offense and each other to mitigate mistakes. I’m probably wrong but it feels like Boston gets frustrated every game because they can’t frustrate Miami.
