Celtics in 5-6. Not having a Player like Embiid to double all the time will make the defense stay home. JB will take on Jimmy Butler and Jimmy will win a game or two. I don’t know if the Heat have the personnel to stop Brown/Tatum. Adebayo is Robert Williams son.

I hope they know having Duncan Robinson and The other Cac Struss out there will make the Celtics exploit that match every time down the court.
That goes both ways though. Bam is a more versatile defender than Embiid who’s a solid rim protector. But, Bam can actually guard Tatum way out on the perimeter. He won’t constantly get exposed on those switches like Joel did. Outside of Tucker and Embiid, Philly wasn’t gonna do much defensively to Boston in game 7. Maxey looked like Scottie Pippen for certain stretches during the series. But overall, Spoelstras defensive philosophies are more solid than Doc. Both teams tend to play each other close each time they meet. If Jimmy isn’t at least 75%, then we won’t stand a chance. But if Jimmy is healthy enough to defend, then I like our odds. Harden and Maxey weren’t stopping Tatum and Brown. Jimmy(if the ankle isn’t too bad), Bam, Martin, Vincent(when he’s engaged) and Lowry+ Spo’s defensive philosophies should be as much of formidable foe as Philly was. Tatum is a monster when he wants to be, but when he’s being defended well, he gets in his own head and tends to settle for the toughest shots.

Also, even if the Cacs like Struss and Robinson can’t stay in front of JB and Tatum, they’re still some of the best in the league at drawing offensive fouls and taking charges. Tatum and Brown tend to get reckless at times when they go downhill. And they tend to get frustrated and push off and use that elbow. The Heat Cacs know how to take punishment and use it against the superior offensive opponent. :dame:
