I never said he doesn't look white ( he doesn't if you wanna argue ). Only that he's part of a larger legacy - Bruce's legacy which was breaking down barriers as a Chinese actor and I'd prefer that a reboot kept that opportunity in mind.

They could have cast Henry Golding. Andrew Koji.

To make matters worse this is the same director who cast Scarlett Johannson in Ghost In The Shell.

While The Crow is a very good flick...a lot of it's mystic is based around Brandon's death...that shyt elevated the film.

No remake will ever replicate what that film means especially to it's audience.

I watched it in the theater in college and it was cool, but much of the hype surrounded Brandon Lee's death. There were 3 sequel movies (City of Angels, Salvation, and Wicked Prayer) they all sucked, so I think its time to leave the franchise be. Release a Definitive 4k edition with a ton of extras and behind the scenes stuff, and call it a wrap.
