I watched two Colombia Noir films today

THE DARK PAST
THE MOB

Did you like this one? I just watched it and found it pretty mediocre. But I generally don't care for the "repressed memory"/psycho-therapy branch of noir. Never strikes me as at all realistic.

That said, if you like the home invasion aspect of the story, there are several other noirs I'd recommend in this vein.

He Ran All The Way
Suddenly
Crashout

To be honest it reminded me of those Bugs Bunny cartoons when he would make fun of the gangsters.
I thought the acting was really good, especially for the times and the noir genre. My issue was the ''pay off'' at the end just fell flat, the story took us on this psychological breakdown of the main villain, only for a flat explanation and flat ending. I got a few more noir films to watch today, I'll see what's up.
