She corrected herself in the segment and attributed it to the source she was reading. If you peeped the story in the news yesterday depending on where you looked you got a sanitized version which didn’t include the racialized language. It also didn’t include a mugshot.
Funny enough NYPost and Dailymail gave it to their readers unfiltered including the mugshot and racial epithets.

It was only corrected because Cenk was there to push back. Had this been on the Wednesday show (when Cenk is off), it wouldn't have been corrected, and every right wing twitter account would have reposted it just like they do with Ana's incorrect and/or misleading comments about trans people and the homeless.
