I asked the same question! I just knew they were going to reveal that in the film but I know there will be a sequel and i just read the wikipedia article on The Warrens and I'm pretty sure The Conjuring is the start of a movie franchise.

That couple has witnessed a lot of demonic, crazy shyt and I'm pretty sure future films are going to touch up on it.

Not a frequent horror flick watcher but I saw this last night and was fukkin terrified. Saw Evil Dead earlier this year and found that more cartoony, tho still entertaining. This shyt was way creepier.

The delivery of scares and fusion of applying past ideas and concepts was superbly done. The makers certainly researched and studied the genre hard. Props to them and their appreciation for an entertaining genre.

The exorcism/possession element was enough and didn't go overboard to match the exorcist..well done!
The score/music throughout the film was a let down..there was too much of it!

I enjoyed this film and will watch again on blu ray with peeps..

The hand claps and rocking chair ruined me big time!!

saw it last night .. .. only bad thing about it was that i went at 6:35 and the amount of stupid lil kids in there ruined alot of parts of the movie. laughing and screaming through out the whole thing

makes me not want to go to the theaters no more :smh:

movie was good though , sequel should be dope

I saw it on Friday, good movie but watching it in a theater killed it for me. This some shyt you gotta watch in the dark at the house for it to be scary, to me anyways.
