Nigeria is starting to build drones and manufacturing domestic versions of assault rifles, but it's too late - I think. The current Nigerian administration is trying to cozy up to France and America. Perhaps in recognition that they've been check-mated.
If Nigerians would stop being so stupid and vote Igbos with sense back into the office. It wouldn't be this stupid war zone anymore.

They won't. Igbos will be in the political wilderness for a long time.

That's not even the issue. One of the major generals in the Lake Chad theatre, Rogers Ibe Nicholas, is Igbo. Ihejirika is Igbo and was the former main general during Jonathan's time. There was another Igbo general who was doing well before he was rotated out by Buratai (who is surprisingly not prejudiced in terms of appointing commanders).
