The sandlot represents that field in every neighborhood or that street that hosted all the games. It's about those hot summer days out playing with your friends and the stories created that are everlasting in your memories. About those 'pickles' you got yourselves into, but were able to get yourself out of. You think back and cherish those moments that you'll never get back. This while felling blessed that you were able to grow up at such a time. This is why movies like The Sandlot, Stand By Me, and The Wood have special places in my heart. Nostalgia
