Brehs/Brehettes advice

I really want to go this Masters program at Columbia SPS but it's going to cost 80K and I can probably start immediately. I can live at home, work and pay off the debt at the same time

Negotiation and Conflict Resolution | Columbia University School of Professional Studies

or

Georgetown SCS has a Masters in Project Management for only 35K (Plus I get some aid) but I would have to wait until Fall 17 to enter.

Master's in Project Management | Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies

I would do the georgetown masters degree. 80k is brutal to be honest.

Also, are you in a rush for this degree or not?

Brehs would someone be able to help me please i will be starting university in September and currently I will be studying Intnerational Business. I chose this because I enjoy business and the course also gives me the opportunity to learn a language so I was thinking of learning Spanish for example as well. However, i've been thinking about changing courses lately and I came across this course on the unis website which looks interesting.

The course is Software Developtment for business. Looking at the modules it looks interesting and im more than motivated to put the work in i was just wondering if i could get some advice on what the best choice would be in my situation

This is the course

you sound like me lol i jut finished my first year of uni studying a similar degree to your but with way less focus on dev and more on it/business it fits me perfectly. One thing i can say is if you want to study soft dev make sure you either know it or you are actually interested because it is really difficult

Hows your course going is it difficult? I dont have any experience dealing with soft dev but i definitely am motivated and ready to put in work to catch up if it means it will help me get to where to want to be.

Getting credits under my belt early is the plus. I can pay off 12 credits right now ... getting a job after my service is up (im an Americorps member) while still being a Masters candidate is ideal.

What is the best route to boost a GPA for grad school after graduating college? Specifically for grad school

Go back and take a few classes, or do a post-grad program (cert) or just go straight for the GRE/GMAT/LSAT?

There's this program in NC I've been eyeballing for a while, but I'm slightly below the admission requirement (requirement is 3.4, I'm at like 3.1)

What's the best study material for the GRE that isn't too expensive. Also if I want to apply for the fall 2017 semester I'm assuming I need to complete my GRE by the end of this year

What graduate school program?
If your law, LSAT studying will be your biggest boost, for a Master's program the GRE or GMAT + any kind of research in the field + good recs from professors in the field.
Work experience will also give you a boost, particularly something like the Peace Corps, Teach for America, UN, NATO, etc.
What field breh?

Kaplan and Manhattan by far. Check file sharing websites for links to older and newer books, as well as Amazon for used ones.
And you'll want to have your app together by the end of the year, and already sending apps out by winter break, I'd check the schools for their individual times.

Damn that's cutting it close, I wonder if I can start grad school spring 2018 instead of fall 2017, I need time for her prep
