im trying to find internships buts its hard :francis:
Have you checked out Chegg's Internship.com?
I always Google the biggest corporations and organizations in the city, and check each one of them out individually online.
What area are you trying to get involved in?

Looking at Grad schools right now for Sports Administration...

Gonna have to study my ass off over the next month for this fukking GRE... You'd think that graduating Cum Laude (3.53 GPA) would mean something and that you wouldn't have to take this fukking test.. :mjcry:

Yeah I felt that to bro. Hang in there fam, you'll be good.
:salute:

Depending on the GRE score I'll get in December

Looking at Georgetown, University of Miami, Northwestern, West Virgnia, and Florida State as my selections for Grad School.

Edit: Looks like my first choice Georgetown is gonna be it as they don't require the GRE for the sports industry management masters :blessed:

A professor sent accounting majors a link to an accounting clerk position at a coffee importer. They are asking for a minimum 3.5 GPA. I'm like damn, 3.5 for a AP/AR position at a small private company?

The semester is finally settling here at Morgan State. My girl ended up getting a Finance internship at the Boeing Company in PA instead of Goldman Sachs. They are giving her $23/hr, $1000 stipend, paid-housing, amenities, and travel costs

Meanwhile, I am playing the waiting game with Lockheed Martin and Wells Fargo

I am keeping hope alive though.

Its way easier to get a full time job than any sort of experience in college. They want high grades because you dont have much practice yet.

Anyway, another semester is winding down. I cant believe I only have one left. I already have an offer for July so its all meh to me. How is everyone else doing?

I'm in the same boat. One more semester with a job lined up. These last few weeks have been stressful with all these term projects plus finals but I made it :whew:

To be honest there is no point in going to college if youre not going to study something in the stem field. Unless your family has connections and money then yeah you can study marketing but if your family is poor and or no connections your a better off not going

This "STEM or GTFO" narrative has got to stop. Telling someone, especially someone who doesn't have rich parents not to go to college is silly.

That being said, you have to think as college as an investment. You have to think about where that degree can lead you versus what you are paying to be in school. Not every degree is going to lead to an immediate 6 figure job.

wrong last the last part wrong what i meants to say if he has rich parents with connection he can study marketing if not better off studying something else. and yes of course you are not guaranteed a job just because you study something in the stem field but at the say time today going to college is nothing but a business transaction so might as well be paying for the paper with the highest chance to get you a job

Kind of in a bunch, moved outta state, to Philly, but still taking classes from Florida, online. Fall semester ended just 2-3 weeks ago only to be contacted by my advisor to tell me I'm 75% completed towards my degree, I need 13 more to finish. If I bust my ass, I could do that by next fall but... those 13 classes aren't offered online :mjcry: & signing up for school up here means being charged out of state fees or wait a year to establish residency :sadcam: I don't know what to do
