I made some mock schedules - registration opens on Tuesday - and it's crazy how some programs get to be spread out while others are heavily loaded on one day.

If it happens that I accept the more expensive program I get to spread things out a bit and keep my work schedule. The other program I may be able to finesse with work or move over to weekend shift (40 hours for 3 days).

:picard:

Excited either way.

Yup!

My suggestion is to ask for help asap from your professor.

More than often they are willing to give you more time and/or work with you---especially given the current circumstances. E-mail and ask for a meeting, tell them where you are stuck or what you are having a hard time with, but also propose a way forward.
Just email my paper yesterday. 30 pages. Glad I never have to do this again

Start classes on Monday. All my classes are a hybrid model where tests are in person but lectures are all recorded and you can view them online if you want but up to 30 students are allowed to attend in person if they choose. I commute to campus so I don't know what I'm going to do in between classes :patrice: Usually like to hang out in the student union or in the Library getting some work done if I have it but in the age of covid I don't know if I should be unnecessarily be inside with all those strangers for hours at a time :hubie:

If you play an instrument you can go to the practice rooms they have available and play there.

I have to go back in January for on campus classes and will probably chill in my car and study. But then again, I'll probably have free lab time to test out experiments.
_______
Good luck on the coming year

How's school going so far for everyone?

Had my chemistry test, math test and bio assignments handed in already. Automatic grading so the results are instantaneous.

Sitting at 100% right now.

Thank goodness all classes are recorded, missed some of one the other day.

Need to study some more with chemistry just to stay ahead, I know it's my weakest subject.
