Yea, I know. It's just more realistic aiming for Booth than HBS, SGSB or Wharton. Plus, the general consensus is coming out of Chicago, the workload is so :noah: you'll be :takedat: on cats who coasted through B-school.

Goal is get my GPA back up to a 3.6-3.7.....study these next two years for the GMAT & get the work experience :takedat:

Why aren't you looking at other elite business schools though, Columbia's B-School, Ross at Michigan, Darmouth's, NYU's Stern, UVA, Duke, etc.

I'd probably go to Columbia before Chicago honestly. But that's me and the attraction to NYC's firms more.

I'm applying to all of them, except UVA.

I like Booth better than Columbia. But either way, this is at least 6-7 years away for me.

Oh all right, plans can change then. I thought you were being like my boy who only applied to Harvard, Stanford and Penn the first time. I was like :damn:

Dude didn't get any of them. Eventually applied again later and took Columbia over Booth and Northwestern's school (I think it was NW...he liked this better than Booth too).

Not sure when I'll graduate. Took the last year off and I'm going back this fall. Finance major and I've already got an entry level job so I'm gaining experience while I'm still in school

shyt, I wish I had started out an Engineering major. I was a computer science/ math major, fukked my gpa up cuz i couldnt stand that shyt.

then when i switched, i had to play catch up, taking a whole bunch of classes year round, burning my self out. Working full time did not help. Didnt even start thinking about internships/jobs in my field till my 4.5/5 year of college (graduated in 5.5) by that time, gpa was below average and what not.

All hope is not lost tho, I just gotta get a company to take a chance on someone with no relative work experience. As soon as i get my foot in the door, i know ill take off.

Man, I think the NC A&T area is one of the best area's to go and meet bad black chicks. 3 schools in Greensboro. And then you got Winston-Salem State not to far away, then Durham isn't too far. The black chicks in that area are....:ohlawd:

:win:

Shout out to A&T where I found that T&A - J. Cole

Quoted for truth.

N. Carolina Central '01, Accounting

There are 3 major colleges (UNC, NC State, Duke) and 3 black colleges (NCCU, St. Augustine, Shaw) in a 20 mile radius. Fine women everywhere.
