I really don't know what some of these sites are thinking with the way they present clothing. I saw a jacket on Ralph Lauren's site I kinda liked but they don't have my size. Googled it and found it on another site. Check the difference in presentation:

How does a $200 dollar genuine leather biker jacket start to look once it gets old (like a year or 2 after constant wear)? Im trying to get a good real leather jacket without overspending but since genuine leather is considered the lowest grade of real leather, I wonder how it looks as it gets old. I saw one for around this price that seemed to fit me well but I dont want to just buy it and then regret it later when it looks like trash with age....but at the same time I dont want to pass up on this and regret it because I let a good deal go to waste and be stuck with the expensive cow-hide and sheepskin leather options

As someone who works in the industry and specifically in a photo studio it can be tricky.

I agree that the PRL site with their model looks much better. The styling for that is is all PRL and they have a direction on how they want their photos to look.

SENSE on the other hand is most likely being rushed to get shots of that jacket up to their website ASAP. They probably do not have PRL styling pieces to use hence jacket buttoned up and model looks very stiff just giving you a front and back pose only. PRL is giving you editorial style poses and detailed shots while SENSE is giving you the bare minimum. I'd venture to guess that on the day this jacket was shot SENSE probably has 1-2 racks (50-100 worth of clothing and various brands) they are trying to get shot for their website while PRL is focused on 1 brand and not nearly the volume of samples to be shot. PRL also has a styling direction and all the styling pieces they need. PRL has more pride in making their merchandise look nicer than a website who sells 100's of brands and just wants images up so they can sell the stock that they have in their warehouse.

With all that said that model SENSE is using does look malnourished and the whole look is terrible in my opinion.
