Expanding your wardrobe while your cutting weight can be a tough place to be in. You don't want to spend too much money as you might outgrow/not fit your clothes after some time, but still, you don't want to not buy clothes.

Shoes can be bought at any size though

I'd just wait until your weight is where you want it to be before investing in clothes personally.

So I hit up SuSu (Suitsupply) b/c I was actually looking for some checked trousers and wanted to try some on. Loe and behold they had TURTLENECKS there. So I tried on a few and ended up buying two, though the idea was to get both of them before someone else snags either one of them and if I don't like them I can take them back.

SO I got a cream/off-white one and a camel one, both of these colors I desired last year but I didn't get! One of the sale associates told me SuSu did a small run of turtlenecks last year b/c the American market wasn't ready for them so it was more of a test. Turns out they are coming back.

One is a simple rollneck style and thin Australian Wool. It feels good.

The other is slightly thicker and has more of a ribbed collar which gives it texture.
Both would look amazing with a sportscoat. My girlfriend agreed since I tried both of them on. I felt like I was out of a Bond flick.

I got the whole gamut of neutrals going on now.

I also went across the street and tried some plaids out to replace one of my others I've had for 7-8 years. I didn't get anything though.

There are some other brands of turtlenecks out by Spier and Mackay, Proper Cloth, and Todd Snyder. I paid $119 each for mine FYI. There were some other colors like a black cashmere, navy, dark brown, emerald green, red, and light heather gray. I'm tempted to exchange one of mine for another color and only have one because although a guy at the store that was shopping said they looked great on me, I must admit that this will take huge confidence to pull off lol. The black, navy, brown, and gray seemed to be the easiest to pull off. The red, green, off white, and camel take a bit of experience to pull off.

Why, breh? Give examples.
I might be biased because I'm really into Japanese designer brands. I admire their dedication to high-quality materials, superior craftsmanship, unique production process, and overall artistry.

Everything I love about Japanes fashion I found it in Shibuya (along with its neighbours Harajuku and Omotesando). From "Americana" influenced heritage brands like Visvim, Kapital, Blue Blue Japan...etc to high-end designer bands like Ambush, Comme Des Garcons, Bape...etc To Japanese streetwear like undercover, Mastermind, Undefeated, Neighbourhood..etc then you have other dope Japense brands doing their thing like Beams Plus, OrSlow, Needless, Wacko Maria, Engineered Garments, Journal Standards and dozens of independent concept stores..etc. And don't get me started on Japanese denim:whoo: like Studio D’Artisan, 45RPM, The Real McCoy, Oni, Momotaro...etc

in addition to that you have great non-japanese stores like Acne Studios, Saturday NYC, Noah, Maison Kitsune..etc around the area

all these brands and a lot more within walking distance from each other:whew: thats why, to me, Shibuya is greatest shopping city in the world.

I haven't messed with Acne Studios, Saturday NYC, and Kitsune. I really want to.

Respect, breh...

May have to look into the Japanese brands. It's to my understanding that Japanese brands were cut on the smaller side. I'm no giant (5' 11", 185 lbs), but I fear I may be too big.:dame:

I'm almost the same height & weight as you and I've never had any problem finding sizes there. very few japanese brands ("Remi Relief" comes to mind) comes small.

The craftsmanship on some clothes these days are ridiculous. Even from places like Northface.

I picked up a windbreaker yesterday and I've noticed some of the stitching has been nicked already.

Anyway, I need to get better about shopping consistently. Do like $200-$250 every 2 weeks. That's the best way to build up a wardrobe.
