A coworker of mine complimented me and asked me why I was dressed up today.

Also a few folks noticed the shoes. I feel that even if the rest of your outfit is "off" people will notice shoes. I wish I had more opportunities to dress up. I do need a new suit since my last one doesn't fit me any more. Instead of belt loops for my next suit I'm going to get D rings more than likely.

I feel the same. I've been dressing more "smart casual" for so long at work that if a breh wears a suit or button-up tucked w/ dress shoes, people will think a breh is either interviewing or tweaking. Damn shame.
