You're just paying for the name. I don't think they last any longer than any other sneaker.
Banana Republic, Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein should suit your needs. Those sites always have sales/coupon codes going on (plus you can use Ebates for a little cash back), just have to keep an eye on them.
Saturdays NYC has really nice sweaters if you want to splurge now and not wait for their sales (infrequent).

Like regular P said Uniqlo, Ralph, gap can have decnet jumpers for around them prices. Depends what you need it for if it's for everyday gap/uni.
Something nice that you want to last go Ralph but you might struggle for $100 unless you find something nice on sale.
